If you’re looking for your next trail partner, look no further. She rides western or English and is SMOOTH! She has toted around kids and adults of all ages. Barbie walks, gaits, trots and canters. She has just the right amount of go and woah. Will go whatever speed you ask. Stands to mount and dismount. Tacks up with ease. This mare is soft in the bridle and has the most mellow personality. She loves attention and is so easy to handle. Neck reins, backs up, spins, and side passes. Will Park right up to you to mount with the snap of a finger. Moves right off your leg. She has seen many miles on the trails and even done playday events. Crosses logs, roads, water, and whatever else in her path. Will lead or be in the back. Barbie is sure-footed and knows her way through the woods. She has been a phenomenal addition to our all-around lesson program as well. Rides and gaits in a hackamore or bit. Requires NO MAINTENANCE. She has had 2 babies in the past with no problems. Absolutely no kick, bite, buck, or rear. She’s been shod for summer trail rides, but does great barefoot. Stands like a statue for the farrier, picks all 4 feet up with ease. Loads and ties. This horse loves her job, and will not ever quit on you. Dewormed on 3/10 and had her teeth floated 3/29. About Troy, MO

Troy was platted in 1819. Some say the community was named after Troy, New York, while others believe the name is a transfer from Troy, Vermont. An early variant name was Woods Fort. A post office called Troy has been in operation since 1823. Fort Cap au Gris, a War of 1812 fortification, was built near Troy in 1814.
