Roscoe is a stocky built gelding standing around 14hh. He is five years old and is a beautiful sorrel/white spotted Gelding. Since owning Roscoe, he has been mostly ridden by my girlfriend, who has limited riding experience. They have gotten along great, and Roscoe has cared for her well. On several weekends, we have had him down in Tennessee trail riding throughout Big South Fork. Roscoe is a gaiting machine! He has a smooth 4-beat gait and can move on out to 8mph. He also has a nice canter. He has ridden around farm equipment, ATVs, and noisy tarps. On the trails, he is automatic! He has seen it all, from wildlife to cows or dogs, and will go anywhere he is asked to. He has ridden many miles in the rough mountains of Eastern Kentucky and knows what rough trails are. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees and rough terrain while still being sure-footed. He has been ridden in traffic and is very traffic-safe around cars, semis, logs, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and attitude about whatever he is asked to do.
