Shootin' My Shot also known around the barn as Gunner is a stunning 16hh pure bred AQH gelding. He came to me with a leg injury but it was no were as near as bad as his past owners claimed and he was back under saddle 2 weeks later. He has a great hind quarter and holds his front up well making him rather well for rodeo work. He has went to 6 rodeos in the last 4 months and won 1st in 4, 2nd in 1, and 4th in the first one he went to.

Evidence for the presence of Paleo-Indians in the Melbourne area during the late Pleistocene epoch was uncovered during the 1920s. C. P. Singleton, a Harvard University zoologist, discovered the bones of a mammoth ( Mammuthus columbi ) on his property along Crane Creek, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from Melbourne, and brought in Amherst College paleontologist Frederick B. Loomis to excavate the skeleton.
