This mare is sweet, smart, and has an awesome personality. She is 5 yrs old. She is half thoroughbred half Hanoverian. She was trained some in dressage and introduced to jumping. She has a lot of go and has been fun to take on trails. She's an easy keeper, gets along great with other horses and loves attention. She loadfs good in the trailer, stand for the farrier, and easy to saddle. We think she would make a great jumper, just needs work. She just needs miles and an experienced rider but is an amazing horse.
About Queen Creek, AZ
From the post office form on file at the National Archives, Queen Creek was originally known as Rittenhouse, the community growing up out of a railroad stop. In 1919 the Queen Creek Farms Company was formed by C. H. Rittenhouse, constructing that railroad stop to ship the goods from the farm. As for the creek it takes its name from, Queen Creek, flowed through Queen Canyon and was named for the Silver Queen Mine, but it was originally called Picket Post Creek.
