Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Louisville, KY

"Henny" is a blast to ride, this one came from a part of the world, where horses are still used to get you places, and he rides like it too! Henny is absolutely zero nonsense, totally soldier-like, he knows his job, does his job, and is happy to do it. He goes absolutely anywhere you point him, he will go up, through, into, and over absolutely anything. He has been to town, thousands of time, he knows his way around sidewalks, stoplights, and knows hot to get through traffic. He has been to lots of events - and he has just enough speed and handle to make a great entry level junior rodeo or playday horse for a kid. He has an exceptionally smooth easy lope, and will be great to build some ones confidence. He is up to date and is ready to go, freshly shod, was just chiropracted, and floated by an equine dentist, had all his fall boosters, and was power pack wormed. He is easy to deal with, easy to catch, lead, load, hauls quietly, ties anywhere, great to saddle, bridle, pick feet, stands quietly for mount and dismount, rides anywhere you want him to be in a group, or rides out quietly alone too. Henny is happy kept in the barn, or turned out, he gets along well with anyone in a group. Call anytime with any questions, everyone here loves this guy! Please call Buster Horses Ashley @ 214-605-7174.

About Louisville, KY

The history of Louisville spans hundreds of years, and has been influenced by the area's geography and location. The rapids at the Falls of the Ohio created a barrier to river travel, and as a result, settlements grew up at this stopping point. The first European settlement in the vicinity of modern-day Louisville was on Corn Island in 1778 by Col. George Rogers Clark, credited as the founder of Louisville. Several landmarks in the community are named after him.
