BDK CAPTAIN AWESOME Aka; Mighty is a registered 2019 model POA. Mighty is one of the most versatile horses out there! From the western pleasure arena to the steepest mountains and terrain he is trustworthy and level headed! Mighty has shown in halter classes as well as western pleasure! He has beautiful transitions, smooth gaits, moves off of leg and knows voice cues. Mighty has been up into the Rocky Mountains and handled rough trails with ease, he is extremely sure footed and will cruise the trails all by himself. We have also taken him into and around town, strollers, bikes, trains and tons of traffic does not bother him! Mighty will walk over tarps, carry a flag and handle crazy objects! Mighty is started on dressage and jumping as well, he has jumped up to 3” with room to improve. With his level headed personality you wouldn’t expect him to be quick and catty but he is extremely agile when you put him on a cow! He has the potential to go far in the sorting pen or cutting arena. This is a one of a kind gelding (not only his looks) but also his extensive training and miles at only 5 years old! He will win the English EQ or western pleasure classes and then keep you safe up in the mountains or around town. Mighty is the sweetest horse in the barn, loved to be groomed and played with but also loves to go to work, he is the first one to meet you in the pasture, gets along with all other horses, is the bottom of the pecking order and has experience with dogs, cats, sheep, goats, cows and all other livestock. Mighty leads, loads, ties and will stand all day. Mighty loves water and baths! We have even taken him swimming! Check out his extensive video and come meet this sweet guy, he is truly a special horse!

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
